Bushing tools are ideal for leveling concrete surfaces and removing excess concrete during finishing work. Additional, bushing tools can be used to roughen a smooth concrete to prepare the surface for additional concrete or a coating.

Features
1.Bush tools are used to even out concrete surfaces by removing bumps and tacking down the surface.
2.Bushing Tools are a great tool for leveling out concrete surfaces.
3.Laser etched part numbers for easy identification and a clean finish make this tool look as good as the job it does.
4.This chisel is interchangeable with any other SDS-MAX Power tools on the market.
5.The Carbide teeth will last up to 3 times longer than their steel counterparts.
6.Pointed tooth design also can be used for roughing a concrete surface to produce a desired finish.

Shape: A sharp, conical point.
Function: Maximum Penetration.
The Pointed Chisel (or Bull Point) concentrates 100% of the hammer’s energy into a single dot. This creates maximum stress in the concrete, causing cracks to radiate outwards.
Best For:
General demolition of concrete slabs.
Starting holes in masonry.
Breaking up hard brick.

Flat Chisel (The Controller)
Flat Chisel
Shape: A flat cutting edge (usually 20mm – 25mm wide).
Function: Directional Control.
Unlike the point, the Flat Chisel directs the breaking force in a specific line. This allows you to control where the concrete breaks.
Best For:
Edging and defining boundaries before breaking.
Channeling (cutting grooves for pipes/wires).
Removing excess concrete splatter.
Spade/Scaling Chisel (The Remover)

Spade Chisel
Shape: A very wide, flat blade (40mm – 75mm+).
Function: Lifting and Scraping.
The wide blade isn’t for breaking *into* the concrete, but for sliding *along* it. It spreads the force to lift material off the surface.
Best For:
Removing old tiles and thinset mortar.
Scraping off rust or welding spatter.
Cleaning concrete forms.

Can You Sharpen SDS Chisels?
Yes. Unlike drill bits which require complex geometry, most chisels have simple edges that can be restored with basic equipment.

Pointed Chisels (Bull Points): These are the easiest to sharpen. Use a bench grinder to reshape the conical tip. Rotate the chisel evenly while grinding to maintain a symmetrical point. A 60-grit wheel works well for reshaping, followed by a finer 120-grit wheel to smooth the finish.  Concrete Masonry SDS-Plus Flat Chisel PH65A
